Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's politics coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential election campaign. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to political communication serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign for reelection. [20] Psaki was fired as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. 20 years ago, she was employed at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained until the closing of the Obama presidency.
