She's often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her further political interest due to her experience as an expectant mother in the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She observed how it affected the people of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation for the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
