Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actress. She is perhaps most well-known for her many performances on FX's horror program American Horror Story (2011-2021). As Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). In the television world, Rabe also appeared in the show The Whispers (2015), The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). The first time she appeared on screen was 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. She also made her professional stage appearance with her mother in the Gloucester Stage Company of Massachusetts. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese) and was able to help her to obtain an Equity Card. In July 2003, she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. She was also featured in the movie Mona Lisa Smile.
